Integra Biosciences Corporation is the only company offering a wide range of manual and electronic pipettes that are compatible with singe type consumables across a defined volume. In addition, the consumables (pipette tips) required for these instruments are available in-house at the NIEHS self-service store. The proposed liquid handling devices will greatly enhance the lab's ability to handle 96, and 384-well plates for medium to high-throughput testing assays. This mission critical activity requires basic pipetting equipment to conduct research work in a timely manner.
A new laboratory (Invitro Disease Modeling) is being formed to study the role of disease states on the onset or exacerbation of the severity or progression of various diseases. The DNTP is planning to develop disease-based toxicology approach to understand environmental chemical exposure effects on susceptible populations. The Integra Biosciences VIAFLO 384 Base Unit is needed as part of the mission of the Division of the National Toxicology Program (DNTP) at the NIEHS, RTP, NC.
